With Kids: Measure Hair Thickness

Here’s a great experiment for your little scientist, measure the thickness of their hair! All you need is:

  • 1 strand of human hair
  • Laser pointer
  • White paper or other white background
  • Tape
  • Ruler or tape measure
  • Scientific calculator
