Dear Stylists:
Puff Apothecary is seeking natural hair stylists to work in our cozy and good vibes space located in the Oregon District. Puff Apothecary is a natural hair boutique & studio that sells natural hair care products, skin care products and a variety of goods from artists and makers for mind, body and spirit. We exclusively stock natural hair products from Black owned businesses across the country.
We're excited to offer a hair styling services focused on curl definition, locs and braids. Our vision is to create an environment that makes people feel good about themselves, their community and empowers them to spread this feeling of well-being. We are seeking stylists who have a passion for natural hair, good vibes and community.

Description
The Stylist offers quality natural hair services that include (but not limited to) shampooing, conditioning, braiding, locs and any natural techniques.
COMPENSATION
We are offering hourly and/or commission (no booth rent) – compensation structure will be competitive and tailored to suit your needs.
Qualifications
Display a strong and dependable work ethic
Extensive experience working with natural hair
Good communication skills, customer service orientated, patience, adaptable, high energy level, and good integrity
Ability to work weekdays, weekends and evenings
Possess a passion for natural hair with the desire to constantly learn and then teach our clients about their hair and our products.
A drive to uphold our “Feel beautiful inside and out” attitude
Must have valid licensing

Our products include natural focused products from Black-owned brands & local accessories (bags, pillows, art, etc) from local makers and artists. DESCRIPTION
The Shop Associate serves as the in-shop representative. This position is focused on customer service, transactions and general shop upkeep. As a Shop Associate, we want you to bring your leadership, talents, and experience to our welcome and inclusive environment
Duties
Assist customers with knowledge, empathy and sincerity by directing them to products and explaining product features
Record all sales in the Point of Sale System and handle all monetary transactions accurately and effectively
Maintain excellent store appearance and assist with store merchandising to provide a positive shopping experience for our customers
Will learn, follow, and enforce retail policies and procedures
Performs store opening and closing procedures
Qualifications
Display a strong and dependable work ethic
Ability to multi-task, good communication skills, customer service orientated, patience, adaptable, high energy level, and good integrity
Possess a passion for natural hair with the desire to constantly learn and then teach our customers about our products.
