Clarifying shampoo

When to use: If you are using heavy leave-ins, gels and other products are being used, if you are active that causes sweating, it’s best to always use a clarifying shampoo

Moisturizing shampoo

Appearance: creamy

When to use: Use this instead of co-washing (which we do NOT recommend). This great to use after the swimming. Rinse hair of chlorine then apply shampoo. This can also be used if few products like leave-in conditioners or gels have been used between wash days and the hair feels dry.

First Wash

1. Apply shampoo* to entire scalp. Use finger to disperse evenly on scalp

2. Massage scalp with pads of fingers

   What does this do?:

   Removes initial debris from hair and cleanses scalp properly.

   Few Suds: The shampoo will be less sudsy as oils and debris have built-up and need to be removed first.

Second Wash

1. Apply smaller amount of shampoo* in hand and lather in hand

2. Apply evenly over the hair from root to tip

   What does this do?:

   Cleanser the rest of the hair and ensure all product is removed.

   Lots of Suds: You should see lots of suds since you removed initial build-up that blocks the air to create suds.

1. Gentle Detangle

• With conditioner in hair, use detangle brush to gently detangle ends of hair to define curl pattern

2. Cool Rinse

• Rinse with cool water to close cuticle shaft and achieve a smoother finish and potentially shinier look
