FOR OVER 10 YEARS…

Bethany Ramsey has worked with naturals young and old to embrace their natural hair and feel beautiful from the inside, out. Her passion for community started with her parents, then grew with her many volunteer hours logged at Chaminade Julienne High School. Her entrepreneurial spirit grew even bigger at the University Dayton's business school. It was there she started her own natural hair journey with a big chop and she has been natural ever since.

After school, she enjoyed embracing her hair and learning about ingredients but she always missed salons as a place for community. She began to imagine a space focused on natural hair that would encourage a similar connection. With lots of support from her family and then finding and renovating a great space in the Oregon District, Puff Apothecary became a place to connect the natural hair community in the Miami Valley and beyond.

Puff Apothecary focuses on offering high quality products, client friendly services and natural hair education. When she isn't making plans for Puff, she enjoys reading history books, volunteering on the PTO, gardening and going on adventures in the Ohio countryside with her family.
