Daily Moisturizing for Natural Hair: Morning or Night?

Daily moisturizing is crucial to preventing breakage and retaining length. If either one is a hair goal for you, then if you haven’t been moisturizing daily you should start in 2019. Another side effect is that it improves the definition in your curls, prevents tangling and knots. The products you use, the amount you use and the technique you use to moisturize with will depend on the texture of your hair (fine or coarse), the density and the porosity. Curl pattern is truly of little consequence when it comes to caring for your hair so it  doesn’t much matter what “hair type” you are.

With all this said, it’s important that you determine the easiest time it is for you to moisturize during the day; whether it be in the morning or at night. Essentially you are determining when you have free time to care for you and your hair. To do this you should experience both times an decide which felt right to you.

Some of us, it is the other way around. By the end of this assignment you should be able to identify what time works best for you.

Are you a morning or night person?
